DAY 6 Interpreting Intuition

Well yesterday’s post has certainly cleared the air, and will now provide the space for us to continue as planned J I am determined to be faithful to my life purpose and values and would feel like a fraud if I didn’t ‘share’ my intuitive experiences along the way. I truly believe that the more we recall intuitive experiences and what we learned from them, together with paying attention to being more mindful and therefore being present, we pave the way to receive more intuitive intelligence.

In plumbing the depths of interpreting intuition as receiving intelligence we will also encounter opportunities to uncover hidden beliefs. I am acutely aware that we all come from various walks of life with “various and differing abilities, assorted agendas, kaleidoscopes of beliefs, and no two backgrounds the same” as Madeleine so eloquently put it in yesterday’s post.  It is essential that we all continue to be respectful and supportive of self discovery and what this means to each other.

In my previous life of ‘living with busy brain syndrome’ I experienced many many moments of anxiety due to physical and mental exhaustion holding hands with fear as the fraudster… There were many occasions when I wasn’t clear enough to pay attention to my intuition and ignored my deep need to rest and reset my core needs… Having paid a huge price, I now do things very differently, hence my mantra Self care ~ self pace ~ self love ~

In plumbing the depths of interpreting intuition as receiving intelligence and what that means to us, we are also subconsciously giving ourselves permission to nurture and honour our intuitive state. Being present in each and every moment is one of the simplest yet most demanding ways in which we can have greater access to our intuition. As a point of reflection I will continue throughout this Challenge to invite you to self reflect on the following: What is it fellow boot campers, that gets in the way for us to listen to our intuition knowing what we know of our intuitive experiences? Why do we turn down the volume on this inner knowingness? What could possibly stop us from using intuition as further intelligence/information????

The more we consciously explore these questions and discover our beliefs attached to our answers, the more we can examine their validity and unearth whether or not these beliefs continue to serve, support, nurture and challenge us. In doing so please consider using some positive personal statements

  • “Even though I’m finding this challenge …………………… I deeply and completely love, forgive and accept myself anyway”
  • I enjoy interpreting my intuition, knowing that I am transforming my worldviews at the same time.
  • “I am beautiful and I LOVE ME Just the Way I AM”
  • “I have nothing to prove and nothing to defend”

Or write your own personal statement:

And of course keep up with your daily practices of:

  1. 5 minute meditations at least once a day
  2. Be more mindful in ‘mundane moments’ and observe your intuition as intelligence
  3. Observe your day to day activities and consider how much of your day to day interactions have a hint of intuition
  4. Remember ~ self care ~ self pace ~ self love

Results of April 2010 Bootcamp 4 Beliefs

Of the 163 members who registered to participate, 18 participants provided the following survey results:

Before the challenge I had a good understanding of why I believed what I did = 82.5%

As a result of the challenge I now understand myself more = 100%

I have now learned to be kinder to myself  = 93.5%

Summary of at least 3 things participants learned in the Challenge and now apply in their daily life:

  • Be kinder to myself
  • Take more time to self reflect
  • Forgive myself
  • Increase positive self talk
  • The importance of being clear about what I want
  • Review and question validity of beliefs and construct new ones where appropriate

From the facilitators perspective, these results were evident in the increase in robust discussions displaying more self trust, confidence and certainty.

Background to Boot Camp for Interpreting Intuition

Background

I believe interpreting intuition is an individual experience and one in which a head/heart connection with self is required to successfully ‘read the intelligence’ our intuition offers.  Over the years I have been told that I have a great sense of judgement and in my younger years was often told that I had a knowingness beyond my years.  And yet, over the last 47 years, I have found myself in some very precarious and often dangerous situations… As I reflect on my journey of conscious living over the last 20 odd years (sometimes semi-conscious) I know now that when I tuned in and interpreted my intuition I had amazing life experiences and the exact opposite when I ignored it. Take for example when I was 14. I was on holidays with one of my older sisters in a little country town where she was living. I had a part time job and had saved money to go see her and had enough money to pay for my 4 hour bus ride home. Unbeknown to me, some of my older friends had decided to drive out and visit me and my sister for the weekend. Inevitably, they offered me a ride home instead of catching the bus. On the surface it all made perfect sense for me to catch a ride. However, my intuition told me not to get in that car… unfortunately I couldn’t explain this well enough for anyone to understand me, so I got in that car… Half way through the drive home we had a car accident and the vehicle rolled over down an embankment. Now here’s the weird thing – there were five of us in that van, and I was the only passenger injured… I broke my right leg, cracked 4 ribs, smashed my right arm and broke two vertebrae in my back… After 8 weeks in hospital, 3 months in casts and loads of missed school, I knew there and then, that there was something about ‘intuition’ that made sense to me and have sought to learn more ever since…

Purpose

The purpose of facilitating this Challenge is to create a sacred space for us to explore together the intelligence our intuition can provide allowing us to live more authentically. We will be developing more self trust and certainty over the next 30 days and in doing so, increase our confidence in our own capabilities.

Disclaimer:

Like any other process you choose to embark on, please check with your higher self and/or health professional to ascertain your level of commitment and suitability to such an exercise. If you are 100% committed to strengthening your emotional fitness through a variety of self paced, self owned and self-actualising activities you can guarantee yourself a 100% increase in mental muscle development as a result of this Challenge. On the other hand, let’s say you are only 10% committed to strengthening your emotional fitness. Then you can be 100% guaranteed of achieving a 10% increase in mental muscle development as a result of this Challenge.  In other words, like everything in life you will get out of this Challenge what you put into it”. I encourage you to own your own process, enjoy the ride and find ways to positively celebrate the journey so far!

Day 2 Interpreting Intuition

Wow! I am astonished at your feedback! thank you everyone for being prepared to play at 100% – it’s the only way you will get what you need from this Challenge – notice I didn’t say get what you want?  Well there’s a reason for that :)

For those of you who are new to the group, please ensure you have read the background to this Challenge and completed your self assessment checklist. Glog doesn’t have the capacity to hold previous posts long enough so I have set up a blog where I will also post the Challenges daily. You have the choice of participating either here or on my blog, or both! If you missed the post on www.gratitudelog.com from yesterday, please go to my blog www.bronwynclee.com/blog You will be required to register as a member of my blog to ensure privacy settings are adhered to. The group will be closed to prospective new members after 3 days of commencement. This Challenge clearly is an opportunity to fine tune, sharpen and/or enhance your intuitive knowledge and skills, and for those of you who have participated in Bootcamp for Beliefs you know my style of facilitating is interactive.

So, now that you have had a chance to self assess your own sense of intuition and get in touch with an intuitive experience, let’s begin to explore this a bit further. If we have all had an experience that has ultimately been or potentially been life changing and can link intuition to these experiences let’s examine how we can deliberately filter intuition as information…

Think back to an intuitive experience and consider the following: Do you recall exactly what happens in your body in the moment of ‘intuition arriving’? Do you have a physiological experience such as a body sensation – tingly fingers/toes? Do you hear ringing in your ears? Do you smell something unusual? Or do you get a funny feeling, sometimes difficult to describe other than a ‘knowingness’? In other words, which of your senses are most heightened at the point of  ‘receiving intuition as intelligence’?

For some of you, answering this will require quite a bit of focused thinking, for others it will come in an instant. Please be easy on yourself and know that you do know the answer, and trust that it will be revealed to you at the right time. In paying attention to body behaviour we can begin to be more attuned to their signals and read them more purposefully. We can also learn to interpret the signals. And here in lies one of our greatest challenges within this Challenge! If we have loud noises in our heads more often than not, how on earth can we ‘hear’ the signals with consciousness and certainty? Mindfulness will remain a key theme in this Challenge and while I am happy to direct people to fabulous resources, all I would ask you do in honouring mindfulness is consider what some would call the most mundane tasks – washing dishes, watering plants, ironing clothes, brushing your teeth and observe whether your mind wanders, or whether it stays focused on the task at hand… The simplicity of these exercises is purposeful and deliberate. Being able to interpret intuition more deeply, the mind needs time and space to translate and compute.

Imagine being in peak hour traffic, honking horns, road rage, flashing lights, sirens wailing, running late and wanting to scream, and suddenly someone demands your attention!! How able are you to ‘hear and act on’ this person’s message?………..Next, imagine in amongst all of that busy~ness, being mindful, being present, being still in the moment and focusing on the task at hand, sitting in the car, hands on the steering wheel, radiating peace and being calm with eyes wide open and all senses wide, wide awake. Now ask yourself again “how able are you to ‘hear and act on’ this person’s message?”………..

In stilling the mind we make space for all sorts of head and heart, body and brain magic! Enjoy your homework!

  1. recall exactly what happens in your body in the moment of ‘intuition arriving’
  2. Be more mindful in ‘mundane moments’ and observe your intuition as intelligence
  3. Remember self care ~ self pace ~ self love

At last! The New Challenge!

Good Morning Fellow Boot Campers  drum rollllllllll please LOL ~ AT LONG LAST WE ARE GEARING UP TO START THE NEW 30 DAY BOOTCAMP FOR INTERPRETING INTUITION CHALLENGE.

As agreed a few weeks ago, the NEW CHALLENGE will be posted on www.gratitudelog.com as well as here on my new Blog. Boy oh boy, I had no idea the Blog was going to take so much time in setting up! Thank god and goodness for a very clever and giving son who happens to be a web editor (www.iamtyce.com) and back in Oz for a brief window of time…

For members of Bootcamp for Beliefs who missed the recent discussion, now is a great time to consider what was agreed and whether or not you wish to remain with us. A summary of the feedback regarding the next challenge is:

1) Rename Boot Camp for Beliefs rather than start a new Group
2) Close group after 3 days of beginning new Challenge
3) Daily posts will be made available both on GLog and my Blog which you will have to sign and join (similarly to Glog) to allow sacred space and privacy to be maintained

30 DAY BOOTCAMP FOR INTERPRETING INTUITION will be run along similar lines to Bootcamp for Beliefs. The process will be reflective and interactive and requires you to take 100% responsibility for how you choose to participate. Opportunities for growth and contribution are therefore entirely up to you. I am certain everyone who joins us will grow more through the collective sharing style we have all grown to appreciate in this group.

As the facilitator it is my responsibility to post daily and invite you to reflect and/or contribute/interact. Likewise, we are all required to honour self care ~ self pace ~ self love. At the beginning and end of the Challenge, I will post a brief survey for you to self assess your insights/learnings and for me to assess the value of the opportunity offered. All of the feedback is confidential and surveys are anonymous unless you choose otherwise. Testimonials are always appreciated

As many of you know, our only son has graced us with a brief visit in between heading off for his next o/s trip. I have honoured my beliefs in self care ~ self pace ~ self love along with fun, variety and balance, hence the drag in time to getting the next challenge started. We expect to have the Blog live within the next two days.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding and willingness to contribute to the greater good of all humanity. Being clear in our head and heart affords the individual a deeper, richer life and raises the vibrations for the collective consciousness at the same time. I love love love having the honour of walking my talk and talking my walk with you all ~ aloha ~
