Interpreting Intuition Challenge May/June 2010
I am reposting the Background to this Challenge as a reference point to return to as we bring this Challenge to a close. I will be posting the link for a brief evaluation shortly.
Background
I believe interpreting intuition is an individual experience and one in which a head/heart connection with self is required to successfully ‘read the intelligence’ our intuition offers. Over the years I have been told that I have a great sense of judgement and in my younger years was often told that I had a knowingness beyond my years. And yet, over the last 47 years, I have found myself in some very precarious and often dangerous situations… As I reflect on my journey of conscious living over the last 20 odd years (sometimes semi-conscious) I know now that when I tuned in and interpreted my intuition I had amazing life experiences and the exact opposite when I ignored it. Take for example when I was 14. I was on holidays with one of my older sisters in a little country town where she was living. I had a part time job and had saved money to go see her and had enough money to pay for my 4 hour bus ride home. Unbeknown to me, some of my older friends had decided to drive out and visit me and my sister for the weekend. Inevitably, they offered me a ride home instead of catching the bus. On the surface it all made perfect sense for me to catch a ride. However, my intuition told me not to get in that car… unfortunately I couldn’t explain this well enough for anyone to understand me, so I got in that car… Half way through the drive home we had a car accident and the vehicle rolled over down an embankment. Now here’s the weird thing – there were five of us in that van, and I was the only passenger injured… I broke my right leg, cracked 4 ribs, smashed my right arm and broke two vertebrae in my back… After 8 weeks in hospital, 3 months in casts and loads of missed school, I knew there and then, that there was something about ‘intuition’ that made sense to me and have sought to learn more ever since…
Purpose
The purpose of facilitating this Challenge is to create a sacred space for us to explore together the intelligence our intuition can provide allowing us to live more authentically. We will be developing more self trust and certainty over the next 30 days and in doing so, increase our confidence in our own capabilities.

On the other hand, let’s say you are only 10% committed to strengthening your emotional fitness. Then you can be 100% guaranteed of achieving a 10% increase in mental muscle development as a result of this Challenge. In other words, like everything in life “you will get out of this Challenge what you put into it”. I encourage you to own your own process, enjoy the ride and find ways to positively celebrate the journey so far!
