DAY 21 Interpreting Intuition

Thank you for your hearty encouragement for taking care of myself :) I had a much needed sleep yesterday and was glad I woke in time for my pilates class.  Self care ~ self pace ~ self love is my life mantra and I simply could not do what I do if I did not honour myself this way…

How very divine to read your feedback and to know that our intuition is working in synch. How fascinating it is to read how you are all going with your discoveries.  Your meditation and dreams, activities and observations are all assisting you to further access your intuition as intelligence. How are you going with TRUSTING your intuition? Are old beliefs and/or negative self talk getting in the way?  Mind chatter can be so destructive as it takes us away from our authentic self and is really only a smoke screen for fear… I would like to explore negative self talk and/or old beliefs. You can generally tell if it’s an old belief getting in the way by the way you think, communicate and behave…

I am curious to know what feedback you got in the creative visualisation with your higher self and would like to expand on this exercise. Set about 15 minutes aside to do this exercise, preferably somewhere where you won’t be disturbed. Get yourself comfortable and relax, and think about something you would really like to achieve, make it something measurable and do a quick audit of 1 – 10 to rate how much you would like to achieve what you chose (1 being low and 10 being high).

Close your eyes and counting backwards from three 3 times until you get to zero, tell yourself you are now in a deep state of relaxation. Now get an image in your minds eye of what it is you want to achieve and add in some colour and depth to your image ~ breathe it ~ taste it ~ sense it ~ feel it ~ repeat this until your whole body accepts this new experience as happening right here, right now, in this present moment. Allow your whole body to fully embrace this achievement and thank your higher self for having access to this reality. Now gently bring your attention to the breathe and become aware of the soft hum of the breathe ~ gently breathing in and gently breathing out ~ slowly, when you are ready, allow yourself to bring your attention back into this moment, and become conscious of where you are in the room, in the building, in the community, on the planet. Softly awaken the body, moving fingers and toes, hands and feet, legs and arms, neck and shoulders… Now sit for a few minutes and embrace what you just experienced. Write down the first 5 thoughts that come into your mind and do not try and analyse them. Have a drink of water and continue to go about what your were doing. Deliberately leave the sub conscious to relax with the information you received and come back to it before you go to sleep. Record what insights your intuition offered you through this entire experience and make a note of your current 1 – 10 rating and your intention to achieve what you stated.

Have an awesome weekend everyone and remember

  1. 5 minute meditations at least twice a day
  2. observations of your intuition as intelligence and looking for miracles in the moments
  3. Observe your day to day interactions and the impact they have on those around you
  4. Keep a dream journal
  5. Do at least one thing on a daily basis, for FUN, VARIETY and BALANCE
  6. Remember ~ self care ~ self pace ~ self love

DAY 19 Interpreting Intuition

It sounds like interpreting intuition is becoming a new habit fellow travelers! How awesome is it to undertake new learning’s and be inspired so much that the new habits quickly become a part of your daily routine? I am profoundly impressed with your continued discoveries and insights along with your commitment to this Challenge and would like to suggest another creative visualization to assist you with your dreamology (I think I just made that word up and love the sound of it, and am not going to do a google check lol)

Catching Dreams

Best to do this in a place where you will be uninterrupted and able to drop off to sleep… Make yourself comfortable and gently turn your attention on to your breathing. Slowing your breath right down to a soft, deep rhythmic pace and gently counting backwards from 3 allow yourself to see the number 3 three times in your minds eye.I like to use the old TV countdown visual… Repeat this for the number two and then for the number 1, and with each number tell yourself you are going deeper and deeper into this safe space of relaxation and that you are treating yourself at the deepest level of self care. With your eyes gently closed, imagine yourself lying down on the most comfortable bed in the most comfortable room and relaxing deeper and deeper… While in this comfortable restful safe space, you become aware that someone has arrived and wants to tell you something very special for you and you alone. This message is one of comfort and joy and is your opportunity to dream up with your ‘visitor’ something special that you are about to be, do or have. Acknowledge the gift of knowledge your visitor brings and negotiate a ‘name’ for your visitor. You are free to ask this visitor for further help in remembering your dreams and for guidance and insights. Be open to what comes and thank your ‘visitor’ for all they have shared with you. You might like to make a ‘date’ to meet again, and then say adios. If you are still awake, gently bring your attention back onto the breath and slowly count yourself back up starting from 1 to 5… drink your half glass of water and happy dreams! Of course keep up with your:

1. 5 minute meditations at least twice a day

2. observations of your intuition as intelligence and looking for miracles in the moments

3. Observe your day to day interactions and the impact they have on those around you

4. Keep a dream journal

5. Do at least one thing on a daily basis, for FUN, VARIETY and BALANCE

6. Remember ~ self care ~ self pace ~ self love ~

DAY 14 Interpreting Intuition

Oh boy am I glad I declared a break yesterday! I can honestly say that I don’t like to think of where I would be in my head if I weren’t listening to my intuition… I am delighted to hear about your forays into the creative visualisation, and to know that some of you are making the natural progression into dream analysis :) I believe meditation is the platform from which ALL can be revealed… As we concentrate our efforts on being more mindful and noticing colour in its vast forms in our day-to-day living, we begin to create new pathways to accessing even more intuitive intelligence. By simply noticing what is going on around us and paying attention to how we then make sense of this, we shift our consciousness even deeper into our own unique inner world.

As we come close to reaching our half way point in this 30 day Challenge, I want to redirect you to the following and ask you to do a quick review:

  1. Commitment to this Challenge
  2. Perception of your level of intuition
  3. Recall your earliest intuitive memory and see what you can interpret
  4. Be more mindful and observe your intuition as intelligence
  5. Remember self care ~ self pace ~ self love

Many of you have shared the incredible changes in your perceptions and experiences… Are you making a note of your changes? How much has your perception of your level of intuition changed? And have you remembered other early intuitive memories? On a scale of 1 – 10 (1 being very low, and 10 being very high) how much more mindful are you in observing your intuition as intelligence? I know you are all committed to this Challenge and are more and more diligent regarding self care ~ self pace ~ self love ~ I am volunteering all day tomorrow at The NT Healing Sanctuary and so am giving us all another relaxing weekend to process our experiences and to remember to remember.

Dreamtime dreaming

So over the next few days, I would like to encourage you all to move into observing your dreams and what they symbolise to you. A useful trick to help remember dreams is to have a notebook & pen, and a glass of water beside your bed. The most important thing to remember is to write down whatever you can remember as soon as you wake up. It also helps if your bedroom is tranquil and uncluttered… It sometimes helps to do a brief visualisation as you relax your head on your pillow starting with focusing on your breath. Gently breathing in and breathing out with your eyes softly closed, begin to tell yourself that you will remain awake for this visualisation. Now gently create an image in your mind screen where you see yourself waking up and writing down everything you remember from your dream. Notice how much detail you can recall and congratulate yourself for remembering so much. You do not try to make sense of your dreams at this point, you  are simply seeing yourself record what you recall, silently chanting at least three times “I remember my dreams with ease”.  Now before drifting off to sleep, drink half of your water. Then when you wake up, drink the remaining water, anchoring the connection with your affirmations from the previous night. The more you practice this, the more you will recall!

Enjoy and remember to keep up with

  1. 5 minute meditations at least twice a day
  2. observations of your intuition as intelligence and looking for miracles in the moments
  3. Observe your day to day interactions and the impact they have on those around you
  4. Remember ~ self care ~ self pace ~ self love

DAY 12 Interpreting Intuition

So this 30 Day Challenge is intense right? For those of you who are new to meditation and attending to self care ~ self pace ~ self love ~ please remember that as we learn new habits, we are literally creating new pathways in our brains and need to be very kind to ourselves at all times. For those of you who are more accustomed to practicing self care techniques please consider stretching yourself with your meditations in either time dedicated or type chosen. I am not suggesting you stop doing anything that serves, supports, nurtures and challenges you. I am simply suggesting if you are more familiar with self care techniques than now is a great time to dig deeper. For beginners, please keep going with your focused 5 minute meditations and aim for at least two a day or at the very least aim for the same amount of time simply star gazing, stretching, breathing or relaxing and simply giving the intellect a break… For everyone else, please consider extending your time frame another 10 minutes and/or trying something different. I find that once I have listened to a guided meditation or visualisation more than a couple of dozen times, I can run off in my head because I know what’s coming next… An old hang over from ‘busy brain syndrome days’ I’m sure…

I would also like to encourage you all to keep up with your journal entries. The more you focus your time and energy into recalling intuitive experiences, the more awareness your conscious brain retains for future use. I like to think of part of this process as washing dirty windows, so we can see more clearly what is on the other side.

Creative Visualisation

Imagine a huge castle with a tower at the very top that has very high, dirty windows! Now imagine that  while you know there is beauty to be found in being able to see outside, there is also intelligence/information to be discovered once the window is clean. You intuitively know that to clean this window will take time and effort, tools and a ladder. Allow yourself to find the tools that you need, including the ladder and get on with cleaning the windows. When you have finished make a mental note of how many windows are in your tower, how much effort was required to find the tools, how long did it take you to clean the windows, and magic of all magic, what did you see when the windows were cleaned?

  1. 5 minute meditations at least twice a day
  2. observe your intuition as intelligence and look for miracles in the moments
  3. Observe your day to day interactions and the impact they have on those around you
  4. Remember ~ self care ~ self pace ~ self love
